Genealogy Research Services for Tracing Ancestors, Family History Reports & Family Trees
You may want your family history traced back as far as we can go or you may merely have hit a brick wall and are wanting help and support in tracing an elusive ancestor. You may want us to research and design a family tree for a relative or friend or are looking for a gift voucher towards genealogy research services for a special birthday, anniversary or retirement gift.

Ancestral Research : 1841-1901

Searches for individuals, spouses & children, and different generations - making links between generations where required. The period covered is 1841 to 1901 incorporating all areas of England and Wales. The earliest census materials can identify ancestors born in the mid - late 1700s, depending on how long your ancestors lived. Research prior to that time is then dependent on the use of parish and other records.

All research information is emailed to you in the form of a report or sent to your specified postal address.

Research fees: £15 per hour/£55 per four hours.

Minimum research period - two hours/£30.

Ancestral Research : 1500s-1837

Searches of church parish records for christenings, marriages and burials of individuals and their families/searches for other forms of records can be carried out for all English counties and, in particular, the following counties - Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hampshire, Oxfordshire, Surrey, Wiltshire. Searches conducted at record offices some distance from our base may be carried out by professional associates. Please enquire for details.

All research information is emailed to you in the form of a report or sent to your specified postal address.

Research fees: £15 per hour/£55 per four hours + travel expenses.
Minimum research period - three hours/£45.

Ancestral Research : Army, Navy, War Records

Searches of army, navy & war records from various sources including the National Archives in Kew, London. Such records can provide valuable information, for example, about service history, pension, war medals received, date of death and place of burial of war casualties.

Research fees : £15 per hour/£55 per four hours + travel expenses. Report emailed or mailed to your specified postal address.

Ancestral Research : Civil Records 1837-1983

Searches for birth, marriage & death entries from 1837 onwards and the obtaining of relevant certificates where required. Certificates can provide valuable information, for example, maiden name of mother on birth certificates, name and occupation of the fathers of bride and groom on marriage certificates.

Research fees : £15 per hour/£55 per four hours + £7.50 per certificate - mailed to your specified postal address with a copy of our report.

Family History Reports
Research information is presented in report form. Information includes details of ancestors located in census and parish records, their spouses and their children (where applicable). Any additional information located during our search is also included.

Note: If photographs and more detailed information about ancestors' birthplaces/places where they lived and their occupations are required, you should consider commissioning a Family History Book which incorporates these aspects.
